John C. Kakuk, Jr. has nearly 20 years of banking experience. He joined
The Stephenson National Bank & Trust in 1996 as a loan officer and
was promoted in 2005 to assistant vice president and consumer loan
department manager. |
|
| John is responsible for supervising the consumer loan department
as well as consumer loan and mortgage activity. |
|
|
John earned a Bachelor
of Science in finance from Northern Michigan
University; he is also a graduate of the
Northern Michigan School of Banking. |
|
|
|
He is a past recipient
of the bank’s Award of Excellence, an award
given semi-annually to employees who
demonstrate superior job knowledge,
professionalism, motivation, productivity
and customer service. |
|
|
|
He volunteers as a
trustee and youth group leader at Carney
Evangelical Free |
|
Church, gives bank
presentations to area high schoolers for Get
Smart About Credit Day and participated in
the bank’s recent Career Exploring for high
school seniors. |
|
|
|
He and his wife Tami
live in Stephenson with their two children. |
|
|
|
In his free time he
enjoys spending time with his family, being
involved with church activities and going
fishing and hunting. |
