Cappaert Earns Bank Award for
Notable Service |
|
|
|
Recently, John K. Reinke, president of The Stephenson
National Bank & Trust (SNB&T), presented the 2006 Mary L.
Staudenmaier WINGS (Worthy Individual Noted for Generous
Service) Award to Charlie Cappaert. Named in honor of
the bank’s chairman of the board, the award celebrates an
employee’s outstanding commitment to community service. |
 |
|
|
|
|
“This award is named in honor of our leading community
servant – Mary Staudenmaier,” added Reinke. “Her record of
community involvement is probably unparalleled in our area.” |
|
|
|
|
Cappaert, vice president and
commercial loan officer,
received the WINGS Award due
to his exceptional level of
community service. He is
highly active in his
hometown of Stephenson,

and coaching elementary

SNB&T

be active in the community,
serving on boards of
directors, volunteering in
schools and a variety of
non-profit organizations.
The WINGS award was created
to celebrate this generosity
of spirit and to recognize
an employee’s commitment and
contributions to individual
volunteer efforts. |
|
|
|
“Picking a winner each year
is difficult because of the
talented pool of volunteers
we have on our staff,” said
Reinke. “But Charlie
committed to pledging a
combined 400 hours of
community service for 2006
and 2007.” |
|
|
|
Cappaert joined SNB&T in
2002 as a Commercial Loan
Officer. He has 17 years of

“Charlie Cappaert fits so
well with the Vision of our
bank as it relates to
enhancing the quality of
life in our communities,”
Reinke noted. “His effort
speaks volumes about who he
is.” |
|
|
|
To
recognize his
accomplishment, Cappaert
received the WINGS plaque
and his name and photograph
