Effective February 1, The Stephenson
National Bank & Trust (SNB&T) will
consolidate its branch located inside
Angeli’s County Market in Menominee, Mich.
with its 1111 Tenth Street, Menominee
office. |
“The decision to close the Angeli’s branch
was not an easy one,” said John Reinke,
SNB&T president. “When we opened the
Supermarket Branch in 1998, it was our long
term goal to add a larger facility that
included a drive-up option in Menominee.” |
The bank was able to meet that objective in
2002 with the acquisition of the Tenth
Street facility.
According to Reinke, that is one of several
factors that contributed
to this decision to combine the branches. |
“We have seen a significant shift in the
number of customers who now utilize our
full-service Tenth Street Branch,” he
commented. “Given their close proximity,
it's a wise business decision to improve
efficiencies and consolidate the branches.” |
As always, the primary focus for SNB&T
remains quality customer service. To
continue to meet the needs of their
customers, the bank will be adding staff and
extending the hours at its full-service
Tenth Street Menominee office. |
Beginning February 1, the SNB&T Tenth Street
office will be open 7 days a week, with a
Loan Officer and Personal Banker available
Monday through Saturday. Customers will also
have the ease of Drive-Up banking every day. |
