Service |

Laura Rowe recently received the 2009
Mary L. Staudenmaier WINGS (Worthy Individual Noted for Generous
Service) Award. Named in honor of The Stephenson National Bank &
Trust (SNB&T) chairman of the board, the award celebrates an employee’s
outstanding commitment to community service. |
“This award is named in honor of our
leading community servant – Mary Staudenmaier,” explained John Reinke,
SNB&T president. “Her record of community involvement is almost
unparalleled in our area.” |
Rowe, Marketing Officer, received
the WINGS Award due to her exceptional level of community service. She
pledged over 200 hours of community
service among five organizations: Respite Care of Marinette & Menominee
Counties board, M&M Yacht Club board, Art for All committee, Waterfront
Festival committee, and The Clothes Vault. |
“Much of this
service occurs before work, at lunch hour, after
work, and on weekends,” said Reinke. “Laura is an
excellent example of how the staff at SNB&T
understands the impact of their efforts on our local
communities.” |
To recognize her
accomplishment, Rowe received the WINGS plaque and
her name and photograph have been added to the WINGS
display in the Marinette location. In addition, the
bank has made a $500 contribution in her name to
Respite Care, the organization of her choice. |
Rowe joined SNB&T in
2004 as Marketing Coordinator and was promoted to
Marketing Officer in 2005. She is responsible for
the bank’s marketing, advertising, public relations,
event planning, promotions and internal
communications. |
She earned a
Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from
Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. She and her
husband Ed reside in Marinette, Wis. |
SNB&T encourages
bank employees to be active in the community,
serving on boards of directors, volunteering in
schools and a variety of non-profit organizations.
The WINGS award was created to celebrate this
generosity of spirit and to recognize an employee’s
contributions to individual volunteer efforts.
Previous WINGS recipients are Dave Meyer, Julie
Beyer, Julie Nygren, Jeff Wilinski, Perry Carlson,
Charlie Cappaert and Dan Peterson. |
