Salmen Receives Scholarhip |
|

|
|
Greg Salmen has been named the recipient of the Prochnow Educational
Foundation/Wisconsin Bankers Association Scholarship. Salmen, Senior
Vice President & Trust Manager at The Stephenson National Bank & Trust
(SNB&T), will receive $1,250 for each of the three years he attends of
the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |

“Greg is a fine example of the quality of this program,” said John Reinke,
SNB&T president. “The curriculum provides a unique opportunity for
bankers to learn more about managing a bank in today's challenging
environment in order to more completely meet the changing needs of our
customers and deliver higher quality service in our community.” |

|
This $3,750 scholarship, established and funded by
the Herbert V. Prochnow Educational Foundation,
furthers the goal of supporting the education of
bankers across the country. The scholarship is made
available annually to selected individuals who have
demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment
to their community and to the banking industry. |
|
|
|
Salmen joined SNB&T in 2002, he is responsible for
overall management of the Investment and Trust
Department in addition to account administration and
new business development. He holds a B.S. degree in
Agribusiness Management from Southwest Minnesota
State University, where he also concentrated on the
areas of accounting and finance. He is a graduate of
the American Bankers Association National Trust
School, the National Graduate Trust School, and the
WBA Leadership Development program. He is a
Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and
holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
designation. |

such as Greg, SNB&T has become recognized as an
exceptional financial institution in our community.” |

The Herbert V. Prochnow Education Foundation, a
not-for-profit support organization to the Graduate
School of Banking, supports research in banking
education and sponsors a number of educational
programs and activities intended to benefit the
banking industry. The Graduate School of Banking was
established in 1945 and has more than 19,000 alumni. |
