SNB&T Celebrates Area Scholars |

|
The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNB&T) recently awarded scholarships totaling over $11,000 to local high school, college and university students. The first scholarship is given in memory of the Louis W. Staudenmaier who served as the bank’s president from 1952 through 1980. The second was created by the bank’s Chairman, Mary L. Staudenmaier. Both scholarships recognize the achievements of exceptional area students. |

Kellie Becker, Peshtigo High School; Aaron Woods, Menominee High School; Arielle Starzynski, Stephenson High School; Theresa Palid, St. Thomas Aquinas Academy; Quinn Arnold, Marinette High School; Alyson Eparvier, Peshtigo High School; Danielle Alsteen, Oconto High School; Kara DeLaet, Wausaukee High School; and Danielle Cherry, Crivitz High School. |

The scholarship recipients from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College are: Necia Jeske, Marinette and Kerri Desotell, Menominee. Recipients from University of Wisconsin-Marinette are: Ethan Linstad, Marinette; Alicia Bonikowske, Crivitz; and Kaylyn DeTemple, Menominee. |

The scholarship program is one of several bank activities that support youth and education. Other recent educational activities include: sponsoring “Newspapers in Education”; hosting bank tours for students; making classroom presentations such as “Teach Children to Save Day” and “Get Smart About Credit Day”; as well as sponsoring and participating in “Life Skills Expo” and “Mini Business World”. |
