SNB&T to hold Contribution Reception
& Holiday Open House |
In these difficult times, the work of our local non-profit organizations is more important than ever. In appreciation of their hard work, The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT) is hosting an appreciation event to thank them for their hard work and endless support within our community. |
On Wednesday, December 8th, SNBT will honor eighteen organizations with a Contribution Reception as part of their Holiday Open House. |
The Contribution Reception will begin at 10:00 a.m. in Marinette at the 1820 Hall Avenue location. The Holiday Open House, taking place all day, will celebrate the season with refreshments served until 5:00 p.m. at all locations. |

“This type of event gives us hope and something to feel good about. Over the past few years, we have been bombarded with bad news in terms of the economy, unemployment, and business problems.” said John Reinke, SNBT president. “In spite of all of that, these organizations have persevered and successfully helped hundreds of people in our communities." |
The bank distributed almost $50,000 to over 100 area organizations throughout the year; that money stays within our community and is dispersed for local projects. |
“We are proud of the contributions we make throughout the year, but they pale in comparison to the effort put forth by these groups,” continued Reinke. “They give people what they need most in trying times and that is hope. Hope for a better future and a knowledge that someone really cares. We are pleased to be a small part of that effort.” |

The emphasis on community service is a long-standing tradition at SNBT, a mission that is carried out by providing rent-free office space to non-profit groups at The Stephenson National Bank & Trust Community Center. Bank employees embody this mission as well, by pledging over 6,500 hours of community service across 98 organizations this year alone. |

Local organizations that will receive contributions are: American Red Cross, Christian Manna Feeding Program, DAR Boys & Girls Club, Goodwill Industries, Greater M&M YMCA, M&M Area Community Foundation, Oconto Hospital Foundation, Menominee Catholic Central School, Rainbow House, Respite Care, Salvation Army, St. Thomas Aquinas Academy, St. Vincent DePaul, Tri-City Area United Way, Trinity Lutheran School, Twin Counties Free Clinic, Northern Lights Master Gardeners, and River Cities Pool Association. |
