Truitt Earns National Certification |

Kadie L. Truitt, Assistant Vice President
of The Stephenson National Bank & Trust (SNBT), was recently awarded the
Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the
Institute of Certified Bankers (ICB), a subsidiary of the American
Bankers Association, in Washington, DC. |

“Kadie’s accomplishment truly demonstrates
her commitment to maintaining the highest level of professional
knowledge in order to benefit our clients”, said Greg Salmen, Senior
Vice President and Trust Manager. “We are extremely pleased to have
four CTFAs in our Trust Department, which gives us even more depth and
strength to offer superior financial solutions to our clients.” |

The CTFA designation
is awarded to individuals who demonstrate excellence
in the field of wealth management and trust. To
qualify for the CTFA certification, individuals must
have certain levels of experience and education in
the trust profession, pass an exam, and agree to
abide by a code of ethics. |
|
|
|
Through the CTFA
certification, ICB validates individuals’ knowledge
and expertise by promoting the highest standards of
performance in the financial services industry. The
CTFA exam covers many areas including fiduciary and
trust activities, financial planning, tax law and
planning, investment management, and ethics. |
|
|
|
Truitt joined SNB&T
in 2000 as trust operations assistant, was promoted
to trust operations officer in 2001, to trust
officer in 2004, then to her current position in
2005. |
|
|
|
She specializes in
the administration and sales of company-sponsored
retirement plans including 401(k) and Profit Sharing
Plans. She is also responsible for management of the
trust operations and trust accounting area and
oversees the processing and reconciliation of trust
account activity. |
|
|
|
A graduate of the
University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Truitt has a
Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She is a
graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute
Retirement Plan Services Sales School for advanced
training in employer sponsored retirement plans. |
|
|
|
She is a past
recipient of the bank’s Award of Excellence, an
award given to employees who demonstrate superior
job
knowledge, professionalism, motivation, productivity
and customer service. In addition, she
is a Marinette Menominee Area Chamber of Commerce
Leadership Academy graduate. |
|
|
|
Truitt serves on the
Board of Education for Stephenson Area Public
Schools and volunteers with the Menominee Rotary
Club. She and her husband Joe have two children and
live in Ingalls, Mich. |
|
|
|

9,000 certified members, provides financial services
professionals with confidence, credibility, and
recognition through its certifications. |
