Bauman Joins SNBT, Trust Department
Growth Continues |

|
Jeff Bauman has joined The Stephenson
National Bank & Trust (SNBT) as Chief Investment Officer located in the
Marinette office at 1820 Hall Avenue. He is responsible for investment
analysis, manager research, portfolio management, and account
administration. |

|
“Jeff was a unanimous choice by the search
committee,” said Greg Salmen, Senior Vice President & Trust Manager. “He
brings to this position tremendous energy, a strong history in the
financial services industry, and extensive investment management
experience including Senior Investment Officer for the $3 billion trust
and wealth management division of Alerus Financial, a national
corporation.” |

A Minnesota native, Bauman has fifteen
years of broad cross-functional experience in equity and fixed income
markets. Most recently, he spent five years as the Chief Investment
Officer for Catholic Financial Life, a Wisconsin-based life insurance
organization. In addition to directing trades and managing the $800
million internal portfolio, his role also included oversight of
third-party investment managers. |

At Alerus Financial,
Bauman was responsible for separately-managed accounts, endowments, and
pension investments. Additionally, he was the lead portfolio manager of
two fixed-income funds and co-manager of two equity funds. |
|
|
|

conditions and the globalized economy, it is critical that our
investment team continues to grow in depth and strength,” Salmen said.

Currently, five members of the SNBT Trust
Department have joined the elite group of just 3,800 Certified Trust and
Financial Advisors (CTFAs) nationwide. Individuals who claim this
designation voluntarily submit to a rigorous certification process that
includes demanding education, examination, experience, and ethical
requirements. |
|
|
|

Bauman earned his
Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration in Finance from the
University of North Dakota. His recent affiliations include: graduate
of the Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Program,
former member of the Board Directors for the Investment Section of the
National Fraternal Congress of America, and former Treasurer of the
Catholic Equity Mutual Fund. His community service includes volunteering
as coach for several youth recreational programs, in addition, he also
participates in various charity events. He and his wife Vicki, and their
three children are in the process of relocating to the area from
Milwaukee. |
