John Kakuk Promoted to Vice President - Senior Loan Officer

We are pleased to announce the promotion of John Kakuk to Vice President - Senior Loan Officer.

In his new role, John will help guide the strategic direction and continued growth of our Retail Loan Department. With decades of lending experience and a strong commitment to personalized service, he is well respected for helping customers navigate financial decisions with clarity and confidence. He will continue to support our lending objectives while providing thoughtful, individualized guidance to customers throughout the lending process.

John joined SNBT in 1997 and brings 36 years of banking experience to his position. Throughout his career, he has built strong, lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues and has consistently demonstrated steady leadership within the Retail Lending area.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Northern Michigan University and is a graduate of the Northern Michigan School of Banking.

Outside of his professional role, John is involved in the local community. He serves as Treasurer of the Marinette Lions Club and Treasurer of Fellowship Bible Church. His dedication to service has been recognized with honors including the Mary Staudenmaier WINGS Award and being named Marinette Lions Club Lion of the Year.
